United Sketches of the Outdoors (52 Playing Cards)

Playing cards that celebrate our shared love of outdoor spaces and public lands across the country

Deal out a coast-to-coast celebration of America’s wild places with United Sketches of the Outdoors, a beautifully illustrated playing card deck by award-winning filmmaker and watercolor artist Max Romey.

Each card features an original watercolor sketch of a remarkable outdoor destination, with 55 landscapes representing all 50 states as well as American Samoa, Guam, the Northern Mariana Islands, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Travel through national parks, state parks, forests, wildlife refuges, seashores, scenic trails, and other treasured public lands.

The deck offers more than classic card play. Arrange the numbered cards in sequence and the individual paintings connect to form the American flag. A folded insert includes assembly instructions, a complete guide to the location pictured on each card, and resources for learning about and supporting public lands.
